You and me
Together we
Used to play 'till dusk from dawn.
Your beautiful smile
Made me glad for awhile
But now you're forever gone.

You've gone away
No longer to stay
And now I must say goodbye.
For now you rest
In Heaven's best
Beyond the starry sky.

Beyond the moon
You went that June
Beyond the planets too.
Past every star
Is where you are
Beyond my reach are you.

But could God truly
Forgive something so unruly
Something so evil and vile?
To forgive what I said
Before you were dead
That made your tears flow like the Nile?

I remember the day
When I did say
Those horrible words to you.
"I wish you were dead,"
Yes, that's what I said,
"I wish you'd leave me alone too!"

For I had a bad day
And wanted you away
But not in the way that you would be.
If I could save you
I'd do all I could do
To take back what I said, you see.

Would you welcome me
To the place I'll soon be
Or will you kick me out?
"Oh well," say I,
And with a sigh,
"I guess I'll soon find out."
I. AM. BORED.
